- Increase the Procurement maturity level in the affiliates via the implementation & the follow up of the Procurement KPI’s roadmap validated by Corporate Procurement.

- Defines the Purchasing strategy together with the Functions/Branches and, for each major Purchasing category, proposes a rationalized Panel of Suppliers capable of meeting the needs expressed by the Company.

- Establishes the tender strategy, before they are issued

- Negotiates with the Suppliers and manages the Supplier selection process

- Manages and negotiates the Supplier contracts on the behalf of the Subsidiaries in the country

- Chairs the regular performance reviews with the selected Suppliers, on the basis of the scoring criteria defined by the Group Purchasing Department

- Checks the good financial health of Suppliers and the degree of mutual dependence with regard to the Group.

- Analyses the worldwide Supplier market, in particular through RFIs (Requests for Information)

- Identifies the best practices on the market

- Builds and rationalizes the Supplier Panel by purchasing commodity, which is approved by the Panel Committee. In particular, he identifies the Group’s strategic Suppliers, according to the criteria defined by Corporate Purchasing
